Com o crescimento do número de corridas de rua no Rio Grande do Norte, aumenta também a preocupação dos organizadores com a segurança dos atletas e a preparação das equipes que atuam diretamente nos treinos e competições. Foi nesse contexto que a HC Sports, responsável pela Meia Maratona do Sol e a 3ª Corrida Coopanest-RN, promoveu nesta quinta-feira (16), em parceria com a Cooperativa e com a Sociedade de Anestesiologia do RN, o curso Salve Uma Vida voltado aos profissionais de assessorias esportivas.
O treinamento reuniu educadores físicos e treinadores de diversas assessorias para repassar orientações sobre como agir em situações de urgência, como engasgo, infarto e parada cardiorrespiratória, até a chegada do atendimento especializado. Durante a capacitação, os participantes aprenderam manobras de desobstrução das vias aéreas e técnicas iniciais de suporte à vida.
Na abertura do evento, o presidente da Cooperativa dos Médicos Anestesiologistas do RN – COOPANEST-RN, Sérgio Lima, destacou o alcance da iniciativa. “É uma satisfação muito grande para a cooperativa trazer a experiência desse grande projeto, que é o Salve Uma Vida, para esses profissionais que trabalham diretamente com atletas amadores e maratonistas, saibam como agir em casos de urgência, antes da chegada do socorro”, afirmou.
A palestra foi conduzida pelos anestesiologista Emiliana Melo e Délio Henrique Vieira da Silva que reforçaram a importância da rapidez no atendimento. “Esse treinamento é importante. O pessoal do esporte tem condicionamento físico, isso ajuda. Mas, não tendo, não faz diferença. É importante reconhecer, agir e começar as compressões, porque é isso que vai fazer toda a diferença. Um minuto, dois minutos, é uma corrida contra o tempo. Já inicia na hora em que você identifica que a pessoa está em parada cardíaca”, explicou Dra Emiliana.
Gabriel Negreiro, da HC Sports, afirmou que a ação busca ampliar a capacidade de resposta dos profissionais que atuam nos eventos esportivos. “Queremos que todos que estão envolvidos nas corridas e nos esportes possam, em uma necessidade emergencial, saber como proceder. Por isso reunimos aqui os anestesiologistas da Coopanest, médicos cardiologistas e toda a nossa equipe para treinar as assessorias esportivas, para que estejam aptos no dia a dia para salvar uma vida”, disse.
Entre os participantes, o educador físico Will Martins avaliou que o curso representa um reforço importante para quem acompanha atletas diariamente. “Agradeço à Coopanest porque é um bônus que a gente ganha para estar preparado para as adversidades. Não podemos perder tempo, porque é uma vida. E uma vida faz muita diferença”, declarou.
De acordo com a Coopanest-RN, o projeto Salve Uma Vida continuará sendo realizado em diferentes segmentos da sociedade, com o objetivo de disseminar conhecimentos básicos de primeiros socorros e ampliar o número de pessoas capacitadas para agir em situações de emergência.
