CÂMARA DE PARNAMIRIM DEBATE IMPLANTAÇÃO DO POLO TECNOLÓGICO “AEROPORTO DIGITAL”
Nesta quarta-feira (09/10), por proposição do presidente da Câmara Municipal de Parnamirim, vereador Dr. César Maia, com subscrição da vereadora Rhalessa de Clênio, ocorreu uma audiência pública para debater o projeto do “Aeroporto Digital”. O plano visa transformar a área do antigo Aeroporto Augusto Severo em um polo de inovação e tecnologia, com foco em pesquisa, desenvolvimento e empreendedorismo.
A mesa principal foi composta pelos proponentes Dr. César Maia e Rhalessa de Clênio, pelo deputado estadual Kleber Rodrigues, o secretário municipal de Planejamento, Kelps Lima, por Carlos Alberto de Oliveira (SEDEC-RN), pelo professor da UFRN Dino Lincoln, e pelo Capitão Burton Gois Junior (FAB).
Na extensão da mesa estiveram presentes os vereadores Thiago Fernandes, Eurico da Japão, Dr. Jonas Godeiro, Rárika Bastos, Michael Borges e Rafaela de Nilda, além dos diretores e secretários municipais e estaduais (IFRN, TI Municipal, Esporte, Cultura, Meio Ambiente e Tributação).
Ao longo da audiência, os presentes debateram as vantagens e necessidades para implantar o projeto, cujo foco é transformar a área do antigo Augusto Severo em um polo de inovação e tecnologia, com ênfase em pesquisa, desenvolvimento e empreendedorismo.
O nome “Aeroporto Digital” é simbólico. Embora a aviação comercial não retorne, o projeto visa aproveitar a estrutura e vocação histórica para abrigar empresas tecnológicas, startups, centros de pesquisa, laboratórios e espaços de educação e inovação.
O projeto está sendo articulado por uma parceria entre o Município de Parnamirim, a FAB e instituições educacionais/de inovação (UFRN, IFRN, IDM, SEBRAE e FIERN, entre outras).
O projeto está na fase de planejamento, definindo o modelo de negócios, arranjos financeiros e operacionais. O investimento estimado é de cerca de R$ 50 milhões, com expectativa de execução via PPP ou capital privado. A previsão de implantação total é em até cinco anos.
