O município de Parnamirim ficou entre os três melhores colocados do Rio Grande do Norte na 4ª edição da Medalha Professora Justina Iva de Educação, promovida dentro do Seminário Crescendo Juntos. A premiação reconhece iniciativas de excelência no ensino público e reforça o avanço das políticas educacionais implementadas pela gestão da prefeita Nilda, que é professora e tem conduzido um trabalho pautado em investimentos robustos e transformadores na área.
Parnamirim concorreu na categoria Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental com o projeto Diagnóstico-Ação, planejado pela Secretaria Municipal de Educação e desenvolvido entre fevereiro e outubro deste ano.
