Prefeita Nilda representa Parnamirim em congresso sobre liderança feminina e empoderamento
A prefeita de Parnamirim, Nilda Cruz, primeira mulher e primeira prefeita negra a governar o município, participou nesta quarta-feira (11) do 1º Congresso Potiguar Mulheres & Líderes, promovido pela Associação Brasileira de Advogados do Rio Grande do Norte (ABA/RN). O encontro teve como tema “Ocupar, Permanecer e Transformar”, reunindo mulheres de diversas áreas para discutir liderança, representatividade e fortalecimento feminino.
Em sua fala, a prefeita também compartilhou parte de sua trajetória marcada por desafios, preconceitos e tentativas de descredibilização, reforçando a importância da educação, da resistência e da coragem das mulheres que desejam ocupar espaços de liderança.
“Eu sei o que é enfrentar o preconceito, ser desacreditada e descredibilizada apenas por ser mulher. Muitas vezes disseram que eu não conseguiria, tentaram diminuir minha caminhada e fazer com que eu desistisse. Segui lutando, trabalhando e acreditando no meu propósito”, afirmou a prefeita.
Nilda também deixou uma mensagem de incentivo para outras mulheres que sonham em conquistar espaços de liderança e protagonismo.
“Às mulheres eu digo: não abaixem a cabeça diante das dificuldades. Não deixem que ninguém diga que vocês não são capazes ou o que devem fazer. Enfrentem os desafios, lutem pelos seus sonhos e seus espaços, destacou.
A prefeita destacou ainda a importância de ampliar a presença das mulheres em espaços de decisão e ressaltou os avanços conquistados em sua gestão com a ocupação da força feminina em posições de decisão dentro de seu governo e parabenizou a organização do congresso pela iniciativa de promover o debate e valorizar o protagonismo feminino reforçando a importância da união das mulheres para avançar na conquista de mais espaços e direitos.
